#KOTW Electroplay….I love the sound of electricity in the evening

This week’s Kink of the Week is Electroplay.

I have written an entry on electroplay before but there is no time like the present to write a bit more But if you want to read about my introduction to electroplay and the glories of a violet wand then please go read my entry “It’s Electrifying! Before I had the chance to try any electroplay I had only 3 memorable experiences in my life when it came to electricity.

One was a good experience and was very healing. I had been given an electrostimulation kit to help prevent further muscle atrophy in my knee after an unknown cause (at least at the time) had rendered my left leg incredibly weak and unable to hold my weight. The kit wasn’t painful at all and the muscles improved much faster when the electricity was paired with my physical therapy.

One experience was simply horrendous. It was speculated that the cause of my leg weakness was severe nerve damage on both sides of my leg so I was sent for a nerve test. This test involved long needles being placed along a nerve path and then an electrical pulse was sent through them. If the nerves reacted, they were functioning. Unfortunately, considering half the nerves were working, it was also a needle filled with electricity poked directly into a nerve. The pain was blinding. I didn’t cry out but everything in my body had a total freak out. I finished the test and went home feeling miserable.

And the final experience wasn’t particularly painful but it was a surprise. I had one hand on a fence looking at my cousin’s horses and one hand on the wooden plank nearby so I wouldn’t be shocked by the fence. My cousins dog came up and I absentmindedly petted her making contact with the metal on her collar. She screamed and ran off as I felt something like a strong bee sting in my arm. It took me a few seconds to realize what had happened. I had been shocked by the cattle fence.

These were the experiences I had when I went into the scenario found in the “It’s Electrifying! My Introduction to Electroplay” post. Since that time Bad Kitty and I have enjoyed playing with his violet wand on several occasions (the latest acquisition is a glove that delivers quite the zap when a person holding the wand is touched but doesn’t affect the wearer at all) and have even developed what we call “the cute crippled couple thing” which is the pair of us, easing our aches by both being hooked up to the same E-stim box.

I both love zapping my Bad Kitty and being zapped by him. Some of the sensations are soothing and some push the limits a bit but I know what to expect with the various attachments and can request the sensation accordingly. All in all its just a fun way to spend some time together as a couple of kinksters and has a lot of fun ways to explore with it.
